One thing I learned pretty soon after starting Overhaul-me.com is that there are a lot of really great people out there who have deep attachments to their cars and wonderful stories to tell. I’ve also learned that there’s growing unrest among many fans of Overhaulin’ who live outside of California to have their story told and their car “tricked out” by Foose and the A-Team. Unfortunately, Overhaulin’ doesn’t seem able to leave California for production right now.
As I’ve said before, I completely understand the argument for staying in California when a show has a budget as large as Overhaulin’s. But…should the rest of the country be left out? Should their stories not be told? Why can’t people bring their cars to the show instead?
What I’m trying to do here is not criticize the network, but to make a point and, hopefully, shake things up a bit.
I want to bring the untold stories out into the open for the network and everyone else to see. I hope their conclusion will be that it can only make a great show better!
Check out some of the great stories below of regular folks who love their cars. Then..if you feel the same as us, join the nation!
